A little bit about our mum & baby classes....
Roamers @ MotherBorn
Led by Caroline.
Roamers is a structured, weekly group for confident walkers aged approx 18 months up to their 3rd birthday, designed as the next step after Inbetweenies.

Each session includes:
-
Free play
-
Tidy up together
-
Snack time on the mat
-
Story time
-
Parachute play
Roamers runs in blocks at £6.50 per session, with small group sizes to ensure a relaxed and supportive environment.

Inbetweenies @ MotherBorn

A welcoming group for crawlers and wobbly walkers who are still building confidence in group settings and early social play.
Inbetweenies offers:
-
Free play and exploration
-
Early social interaction
-
Gentle routines and transitions
-
Space for parents to connect and share experiences
This group supports both children and parents through the older baby/young toddler stage, offering reassurance, connection, and a steady weekly rhythm. Feeding support is also available as well as sling fit checks (small additional charge).
Inbetweenies runs as block bookings at £5 per session, with a small number of pay-as-you-go spaces at £6.50 available each week for flexibility.
The next 5-week block starts on Thursday 23rd April @ 10-12pm - £25 block booking with a limited number of Pay As You Go spots will available each week at £6.50 per family.
Bubba Gym with Bubbalou
Louisa's Developmental Play Gyms offer a guided, supportive space for you and your baby to explore play and movement together. Each session includes activities that provide that ‘just right challenge’, helping your baby build strength, coordination and confidence while giving you fresh ideas for play at home.
These sessions are also a lovely way to connect, both with your baby and with other parents, while asking questions about your baby’s development in a relaxed, friendly setting.
Each class follows a familiar rhythm: hellos and action songs, guided and free play (including treasure bags), parachute fun, story-time and goodbyes. Babies love the predictability and thrive within this gentle structure.
At MotherBorn, every family is welcome. If your baby has additional needs or would benefit from extra support, please get in touch - we’re here to help.

Tummy Time Tribe with Bubbalou
Tummy Time can be tricky, what does your baby think of it? It can be hard to know what to do to help them enjoy it. With Louisa's background as a Paediatric Physio and having completed a Tummy Time Practitioner's course, tummy time is her thing and she can help!
Louisa's Tummy Time Tribe sessions are perfect from around 8 weeks old to learn about an important part of your baby's development. It is the starting point for developing on to roll, sit, crawl, stand, walk and even helps with fine motor function like holding a pencil. There is no upper age limit for these classes, just when they are happy spending time on their tummy.
The next block is currently fully booked - join our waiting list to know when the next block is available for booking.
Baby Massage & Restorative Yoga for mums with Tiger Mama Yoga
One thing that we know for sure over at MotherBorn is that a supported mum is a more confident mum... and confident mums raise happy, securely attached babies (because you trust your mama instincts and not well-meaning but outdated advice of 20+ years ago, or books written by people who don't actually have kids... yay for mama instincts!).
Research shows time and time again that bonding and attachment shape a baby’s brain, emotional well-being, and future development. When you feel calm, connected, and cared for, your baby feels it too.
We've designed our Mama & Baby: Relax & Restore classes, alongside Laura of Tiger Mama Yoga with YOU in mind as well as your little one - the focus is on baby massage which helps soothe and regulate your baby’s nervous system, strengthening your bond through touch and eye contact, whilst also taking some time for gentle postnatal yoga and relaxation to give you the space to breathe, reset, and reconnect with yourself - because your well-being matters just as much as your baby’s. Suitable for mamas with babies 6 weeks to on the move.
The next 5-week block starts on Friday 24th April @ 1:15-2:30pm - £45 for the block, £12 Pay As You Go.

Baby Rockers @ MotherBorn
Forget "Twinkle Twinkle"; Baby Rockers is the ultimate music group for families, where your little rock star can jam out to the tunes you love, reimagined for kids.
At Baby Rockers we sing songs, play games and tell stories all built around the classic indie, rock and pop tunes that the parents love.
Sessions are planned to be delivered for babies from as young as 4 months up to toddlers of 3 years old.
You rock up, we`ll rock out! Click here to watch a video of these fun classes.
Classes run by Rhys.

“We are Devon Maternity and Neonatal Voices (MNVP). We listen to families across Devon about their experiences of maternity and neonatal care – whether it was good, bad or a bit of both.
As an official partner of NHS Devon, we make sure the voices of women, birthing people and their partners are heard and used to shape improvements to hospital care.
We know how important community is during your pregnancy to help you prepare for your baby as well as feel supported and connected to others. We want to help families access support in the community without barriers. That’s why we’re proud to sponsor Motherborn to provide free tickets for Bump and Brew.”

Please note - if you're a mama of twins (or more!), don't worry, we will only ever charge you for one baby at any of our classes... we don't believe it would be fair to charge you for both!!
