Tummy Time Tribe with Bubbalou
Tummy Time can be tricky, what does your baby think of it? It can be hard to know what to do to help them enjoy it. With Louisa's background as a Paediatric Physio and having completed a Tummy Time Practitioner's course, tummy time is her thing and she can help!

Louisa's Tummy Time Tribe sessions are perfect from around 8 weeks old to learn about an important part of your baby's development. It is the starting point for developing on to roll, sit, crawl, stand, walk and even helps with fine motor function like holding a pencil. There is no upper age limit for these classes, just when they are happy spending time on their tummy.

A little bit about our mum & baby classes....
Baby Massage & Restorative Yoga for mums with Tiger Mama Yoga
One thing that we know for sure over at MotherBorn is that a supported mum is a more confident mum... and confident mums raise happy, securely attached babies (because you trust your mama instincts and not well-meaning but outdated advice of 20+ years ago, or books written by people who don't actually have kids... yay for the mama instincts!).
Research shows time and time again that bonding and attachment shape a baby’s brain, emotional well-being, and future development. When you feel calm, connected, and cared for, your baby feels it too.
We've designed our Mama & Baby: Relax & Restore classes, alongside Laura of Tiger Mama Yoga with YOU in mind as well as your little one - the focus is on baby massage which helps soothe and regulate your baby’s nervous system, strengthening your bond through touch and eye contact, whilst also taking some time for gentle postnatal yoga and relaxation to give you the space to breathe, reset, and reconnect with yourself - because your well-being matters just as much as your baby’s. Suitable for mamas with babies 6 weeks to on the move.

6 week block starting on Friday 12th September (with a one week break on 3rd October) - subsidised by MotherBorn - price reduced to £32.50.


Developmental play gyms are a guided and supported way to practise play skills with developmentally appropriate activities which give that 'just right challenge'. You will be able to add variety to your baby's play times and promote their development while also giving you some supported time with your baby and a chance to meet other parents and babies. You can ask questions about your baby and their developmental progress, find out what you can be focusing on at home to give them a boost and also just spend some quality time enjoying each other in play.

These groups follow a structure, with 'Hellos' at the beginning, action songs, guided developmental activities, free play including heuristic play (treasure bags), parachute play, a story and then 'Goodbyes' at the end. Babies love a familiar routine and the predictability of doing a similar sequence each class.
​
With Louisa's Paediatric Physio background and experience, she's keen to welcome families with babies with additional needs or developmental challenges who would like some extra support. Please get in touch to find out more.

Please note - if you're a mama of twins (or more!), don't worry, we will only ever charge you for one baby at any of our classes... we don't believe it would be fair to charge you for both!!
Mama Mondays @ MotherBorn
Mama Mondays @ MotherBorn are a little pocket of calm just for you.
We know how much you pour into your little one, so these sessions are about refilling your cup and giving you the care you deserve.
With non-mobile babies welcome, each week of this limited series of sessions brings something different:

- Week one (15th Sept) - Craft & Connection - a relaxed creative session with Shannon from Mamas & Bubbas Makes & Creates
​
- Week two (22nd Sept) - Rest & Restore - sink into calm with a blissful sound bath for mums & babies, led by Helen Phillips.
​
- Week three (6th Oct) - Reconnect & Recover - pelvic floor recovery & core strength with Wendy from Wendy Farren Physiotherapy.
​
- Week four (13th Oct) - Relax & Release - enjoy a calming hand, foot or head massage with Alison from Alison's Beauty Therapies.
Come for the week that speaks to you, or dip in and out and come to as many you need - this space is all about supporting you.
